PALS Group meetings

VABVI offers the Peer Assisted Learning and Support (PALS) groups for those who are coping with vision impairment. These groups meet monthly in several locations throughout the state. The schedule includes an activity designed to improve confidence and independence, lunch, and a speaker or entertainment.

Barre Meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the American Legion on Main St. in Barre.

Brattleboro meets the third Tuesday of every month from 10 a.m. to noon at the Brooks Memorial Library. An instructional group meets the first and third Tuesday of the month from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the same location.

Middlebury meets the third Monday of the month from 10 a.m. to noon at Middlebury Commons.

Newport meets the first Monday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Newport Senior Center. (St. Johnsbury group members are welcome to attend.)

Pittsford meets the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Pittsford Library.

St. Albans meets the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church of the Rock.

St. Johnsbury meets the third Monday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the St. Johnsbury VFW. (Newport group members are welcome to attend.)

Springfield meets the third Monday from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Hueber Building and the instructional group meets every first and third Monday from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the same location.

White River Junction meets the first Thursday of the month from 9:30 a.m. to noon at the Bugbee Senior Center and the instructional group meets the first and third Thursdays from 12:30 to 3:00 at the same location.

Winooski meets the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Terraces, 65 Barlow St., 4th Fl, Winooski.
